Growth Spurt

GardenWe have been enjoying a harvest of greens, mustard, chard, and pak-choi, from out little Garden plot. As you can see we don't have much space and the garden is in the shade of some Banana plants and an Avocado plant. Never the less, thanks to some communal effort, good soil, and a tropical climate there are enough greens to go around.

Why Did the Nene Go To the Beach?

P1010042_3Well, why does anyone go to the beach? But the nenes weren't there for sun and snorkeling. You can probably see the high surf and overcast sky that kept most people out of the water.

It's Not Mardi Gras, But It Is Merrie

Cafe Theology

Wednesday evening is the time for our Faith discussion and gathering at the local Borders bookstore in Hilo, HI. The meetings have been intimate and wide ranging but have generally started with a book that is being read in common.
