The Art of Paying Attention: How to Pay Attention is a self-study e-course based on the core principles behind Other Centred Writing. These are: 1) that finding small stones other forms of writing can help us to pay more attention to ‘the other’, 2) that paying attention to ‘the other’ will help us to see reality more clearly, and 3) that seeing reality more clearly will help us to feel more loved and loving, and more at home with ourselves and with others. |

Eastern Theraputic Writing: This course will give you an experience of four different styles of therapeutic writing/journaling, each drawn from eastern spiritual and therapeutic traditions. We'll use Naikan, Morita journalling, Waka writing and koan practice to help us connect more with ourselves and the world. |

Writing Towards Healing: This brand new course (running for the first time in August) is aimed at anyone who wants to use writing in their journey towards healing. Participants will write small stones (short pieces of observational writing) and will also use journal writing and other writing exercises. |

Writing As Spiritual Practice This course is aimed at anyone who wants to feel more at home with themselves and with the world, through the exploration of writing as a spiritual practice. Participants will write at least one small stone a day – a short piece of observational writing - and also use journal writing and other writing exercises. . |

At Writing Our Way Home, we feel passionate about helping people use writing to learn about themselves and about the world, and to live richer, more engaged lives.
Each course has a wealth of material including a pre-course pack with introductory essay, as well as individual essays on the course topics and daily emails guiding you through the process of completing the course.
The month long courses, and The Questions Club, each include private online groups where you can share reflections on the course, as well as writing that you produce, with other students and the course tutor. Individual sessions with tutors are also available.
Each of these courses encourages us to use writing to help us pay more attention to the world, and to ourselves, and to our relationships with others.
