Touching the earth we become whole. Becoming one with growing things we embrace the world. Discovering love for the ordinary, we experience life at its fullest. This day workshop will offer space for exploring our relatedness to the natural environment as it infiltrates even the city spaces. We will discover new ways of being through mindful contact with the aspects of life so often ignored.
Learning on this programme takes the form of a ten point wheel. In the work we will visit and revisit the ten dimensions of the therapeutic process. Each dimension consists of an aspect of the environmentally based work, and is itself grounded in other-centred concepts, which have both theoretical and methodological implications.

Earth to Earth: Facing Grief and Finding Healing Through Nature: August 15-19 with Caroline Brazier and Geske Glahn, France
When we experience loss, whether through the death of a loved one or through some other life tragedy, the resonances of the event often feel like a death within ourselves. Indeed a part of us has died, for it is so often in our connections to those whom we love that we find our living selves, and with their departure we learn to embrace unwelcome solitude. Often at times of acute pain and loss we turn to nature. Instinctively we reach out towards the healing and replenishment which being close to growing things provides. This week event will provide space for healing in nature. Click here for more: Earth to Earth
Solitary Retreats in France
An individual retreat can be a time for reflection, for deepening your existing spiritual practice, for being close to the natural world or for reviewing your life. As such it can take many forms. You may already have an idea of what you are looking for, but even so, the reality may turn out to be quite different from what you expected. In some ways we do retreats to be surprised.
